We currently have a number of trained dogs waiting to find their perfect home. Although we are based in South Yorkshire, we have a network of trainers covering the entire UK.
Here at Ravenkeeper we are proud to work with specific working dog breeds.
Our bespoke training programme has been devised using our years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the breeds we exclusively work with. All of our dogs will be microchipped, wormed and deflead before coming to your home. We also ensure each dog is vaccinated, which includes kennel cough prevention treatment, and is supplied with a vaccination card.
At Ravenkeeper Trained Dogs, we provide exceptional care and non-aggressive training for each dog we source. Our well-established kennel site is open for client visits, ensuring transparency in our operations.
As a family-run business, we maintain a small number of dogs to prioritise their welfare, allowing us to understand and match each dog with the ideal client.
Partnering with a trusted local vet, we ensure all dogs are regularly health-checked, wormed, deflead, and vaccinated. Each dog comes with a comprehensive aftercare package detailing their health checks and background.

We encourage clients to visit their new dogs frequently, fostering a strong bond. It's crucial for the new owners to continue the dog's training at home. Upon collection, we provide a full handover and an aftercare package with detailed instructions to maximise the benefits of Ravenkeeper training.
We are a family-run business that values natural ability, experience, and positive reinforcement in training dogs over formal certificates. Our team of passionate trainers has extensive knowledge of all dog breeds, both working and pet-trained, and experience with even the most challenging behaviours.
Craig, the founder and director of Ravenkeeper, has a lifelong passion for working dogs. His ethos is that every dog deserves the best training, home, and future. Craig has completed IMDT courses in dog behaviour and has successfully competed in Field Trials. Now, he primarily focuses on client liaison and training support.
Jade, an intermediate dog trainer and kennel assistant, has a passion for German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. She spends her spare time training her own dog and has completed IMDT courses. Jade is set to start a degree in Canine Behaviour and Training in September.
Laura assists Craig with administration, managing the website, adverts, and email enquiries.

We ethically source our dogs from trusted connections in the working field and frequently help rehome dogs from various backgrounds. Each dog is assessed individually to ensure they have the right temperament to be a Ravenkeeper dog.
We cater to a diverse range of clients, from aristocrats to those crowdfunding a dog. Our passion goes beyond simply rehoming; we ensure each client gets the best match for their needs and never force a dog on anyone. We also provide tailored advice and support even after the dog has left our care.
